Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce

Women's seminar followed by Beer University event
Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce Women in Business, True Colors seminar is 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 29 at Oakhurst Golf & Country Club, 7000 Oakhurst Lane in Clarkston. The event is sponsored by Elga Credit Union and Clarkston Flower Shoppe. The cost is $50 per person for nonmembers and $30 for chamber members, pre-paid. Those paying for the seminar receive free entrance to Beer University, the same day at 8:30 p.m. The beer event will feature up to eight styles of Michigan beers. Tickets are $50 per person and include a take home souvenir. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the Chamber (or online at www.clarkston.org). Earlybird price of $35 is available through April 23. For more information, call 248-625-8055. The beers will be paired with appetizers prepared by Oakhurst's Chef Joseph Morin. Beer University is open to the public.
