Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber chooses new president
The Board of Directors of the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce appointed Joe Bauman as president of the 650-member organization effective June 2. Bauman was a journalist for more than 25 years, the last 19 with the Observer & Eccentric newspaper chain as a reporter, editor and managing editor. Prior to his appointment as president of the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber, he was employed by USIS as a contract investigator for the United States Office of Personnel Management. He also served on the board of directors for the chamber. Bauman serves on the advisory board for The Community House, is a director and past president of the Birmingham Rotary Club, and a board member and treasurer for the Livonia Meteors Soccer Club. ITC Holdings Corp. announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend on ITC common stock of $0.32 per share payable on June 15, to shareholders of record on June 1, 2010.
