Emagine Entertainment makes Michigan’s Top 50
Emagine Entertainment, Inc. has been recognized as one of the 2010 “Michigan 50 Companies to Watch,” an awards program sponsored by the Edward Lowe Foundation and presented by Michigan Celebrates Small Business at an event in Lansing. Companies making it to the “Michigan 50 Companies to Watch” list are defined as having 6 to 99 full-time-equivalent employees and generating $750,000 to $50 million in annual revenue or working capital. Emagine Entertainment has been recognized as a leader in theatrical exhibition since 1997. It opened the first theatre in Michigan to incorporate stadium seating in all of its auditoriums. Emagine operates facilities in four Michigan locations including Novi, Canton, Woodhaven and Birch Run. Groundbreaking for a fifth location in Royal Oak is planned for this summer. Blinds To Go set to hire
Blinds to Go announced it is looking to add 400 full-time employees to its network of 100 stores in 2010. The projected increase comes on the heels of hiring nearly 400 employees company-wide last year. Both phases of the staff expansion are intended to build market share in the major metropolitan centers of northeastern Canada and the U.S., as well as Michigan and Florida.  Blinds To Go has seven stores in Michigan, located in Troy, Ann Arbor, Clinton Township, Westland, Pontiac, Utica and Novi.
