Chambers of Commerce annual golf outings set

Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce hosts annual golf outingAuburn Hills Chamber of Commerce  will host its Business-Links Golf Outing Monday, June 14, at Paint Creek Country Club. There is a 10 a.m. shotgun start. Baker College is sponsoring a continental breakfast, lunch at the Turn Grill and “after-golf” hors d’oeurves. The cost is $195 per person or $600 for a foursome. Home staging contest offered
The Great Lakes Regional Chapter of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals announces the launch of the first Extreme Home Staging Contest. Through Monday, June 14, contestants have an opportunity to win a complete home staging package, staging services provided by Accredited Staging Professionals, while benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southeast Michigan. Pontiac Regional Chamber holds golf outing
Pontiac Regional Chamber Networking Golf Outing is 8 a.m. to noon Friday, June 25, at Pontiac Municipal Golf Course, 800 Golf Drive, followed by lunch at Bo’s Smokehouse, 51 N. Saginaw in Pontiac. Attendees may register through Friday, June 18. The golf outing includes 18 holes, four-person scramble, shotgun start, lunch and drink tickets for $90 per golfer. Troy Chamber to Host Annual Golf OutingThe Troy Chamber of Commerce will host its annual golf outing Monday, June 21 at Red Run Golf Club, 2036 Rochester Road in Royal Oak. The outing will feature a light breakfast, sponsored by BenePro; 9 a.m. shotgun start; 18 holes of golf with cart; lunch from the grill at the halfway house; drinks and snacks on the course and a cocktail mixer with hors d’oeuvres and prizes in the late afternoon. The cost to golf is $235 per person or $850 as a foursome. Upgrade to a featured foursome and the cost is $1280. Featured foursomes get a running caddy and signage at a hole. Oakland Community College selects vice chancellor
Following a nationwide search, the Oakland Community College Board of Trustees appointed Dr. Richard Holcomb vice chancellor of academic and student affairs, effective in July. Holcomb will serve as the college’s chief academic and student affairs officer. He was previously with Eastern Wyoming College in Torrington, Wyoming, where he served as vice president for learning since 2007. He also served a four month stint as the school’s interim president. Previously, he was an associate dean and a division chair at Palm Beach Community College in Lake Worth, Fla.
