TROY
Automation Alley breaks ground on building expansion
Automation Alley has broken ground on expansion construction at its headquarters in Troy. The 3,200-square-foot expansion will provide a ‘soft landing center’ for international guests interested in conducting business in Southeast Michigan. The new addition will feature a private entrance, three conference rooms, three private offices and an open office area. The project also includes additional parking.
The project was funded by a U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development grant sponsored by Congressman Gary Peters and U.S. Senators Carl Levin and Debbie Stabenow. The expansion is expected to be completed by spring 2011 and is being constructed by Synergy Group, Inc., of Bloomfield Hills.
