Advancing Michigan's Energy Future free panel is Monday

Advancing Michigan’s Energy Future, a renewable energy, energy efficiency and policy discussion is 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30 at OU INC-Smartzone Business Accelerator and Clean Energy Research Center, Golfview Lane, Rochester.
It is a series of presentations and a policy discussion on Michigan’s energy future. Topics will include current and future energy policy, renewable energy and energy efficiency. Panelists will also lead a discussion on the Michigan Public Service Commission’s draft report containing recommendations for renewable energy policy. The report is based on a series of hearings Governor Snyder held across the state earlier this year. A panel of experts, including: Steve Bakkal, Director of the Michigan Energy Office; Joshua Brugeman, Director of Energy Efficiency at Next Energy and Jim Leidel, Director of Clean Energy Systems at OU INC.
