'Marketing to the Generations' conference to show how to use data

Waterford, Clarkston, Pontiac, Auburn Hills and Orion area chambers of commerce are hosting the annual Business Success Conference, 7:30 a.m. to noon, Thursday Oct. 30 at Oakland Schools, 2111 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford Township. This year’s theme, “Marketing to the Generations” will begin with a presentation by Oakland County’s Economic Development Department of demographic and market planning analytics for the five area chamber hosts. Two panel discussions will follow on how to effectively utilize this information to market a business. The cost is $40 for chamber members and $55 for nonmembers.
