The 4th Annual Wine & Dine in the D is Thursday, Sept. 11 at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in Detroit to benefit Multiple Myeloma Research.
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a roundtable presentation by some of the top doctors in the field. Then, the "wining and dining" begins at 6:30 and includes specialties from some of Metro Detroit's top restaurants including 24 Grille, Joe Muer Seafood, Michael Symon's Roast, Rattlesnake Club and Vicente's Cuban Cuisine in Detroit; Forest Grill, Bistro Joe's, The Stand, Townhouse, and Bella Piatti Restaurant in Birmingham; Bigalora Wood-Fired Cucina and Eskimo Jacks Artisan Cookies & Ice Cream in Southfield; Café Cortina in Farmington Hills, Maria's Restaurant, Stage Deli and Baked Impressions in West Bloomfield; Beverly Hills Grill in Beverly Hills; Ocean Prime in Troy, Mitchell's Fish Market in Livonia, Steve & Rocky's and Big Tommy's Parthenon in Novi and Eddie Merlot's in Bloomfield Hills.
In addition, guests may sample selections from top Michigan and California wineries and craft beer from Frankenmuth Brewery and Short's Brewery.

Famed Detroit jazz artists Ursula Walker and the Buddy Budson Quintet will provide the entertainment and the event includes a silent auction. A Patron-only After-Glow Reception in the Founder's Room caps off the evening with desserts, dessert wines and cordials.

The event benefits the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation to develop treatments for multiple myeloma, an incurable blood cancer. Tickets for Wine & Dine in the D are $175 each, or $275 for a Patron ticket, which allows the purchaser to attend the After-Glow Reception as well. Visit WineAndDineintheD.com or call 248-625-0070.
