Technical career fair is April 27 in Farmington Hills

Technical Career Night is 7-9 p.m. Monday, April 27 at the Costick Center, 28600 Eleven Mile Road, Farmington Hills. Participants will learn about an array of post-secondary education options. It includes information about vocational and technical occupations and how to obtain skills that create work-force readiness. Lisa Katz, Executive Director of the Workforce Intelligence Network (WIN) of Southeast Michigan, will give the keynote address, "Middle Skills Careers -- The Promising Future." WIN is a consortium of seven Michigan Works! Agencies and nine community colleges formed to create a talent system for regional employers.
