Michigan women entrepreneurs invited to 'pitch competition'

The Michigan Women’s Foundation is hosting the annual Entrepreneur YOU pitch competition for women. The organization will select 20 finalists to participate in coaching and compete for prizes of cash and in-kind services. This year, finalists will participate in Dolphin Tank, a milder version of the television show Shark Tank.
Female entrepreneur applicants must enter a two-page concept paper by 5 p.m. July 13 at miwf.fluidreview.com. A $10 processing fee is required. The Entrepreneur You Business Plan and Pitch Competition applicants can select either the Grand Rapids or SE Michigan competition.
Finalists will be announced in August and will present at the Entrepreneur YOU Pitch Competition in either Southeast Michigan on Oct. 9 or in West Michigan on Oct. 16.
