Orion Township technology fair to feature robotics, speakers and networking

Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) of Orion Township is hosting its annual technology fair, Aug. 11. The theme of amtXpo 2016, is “Intelligent Automation.”
It will feature live demonstrations including bartending collaborative robots, 40 plus onsite vendors, several industry speakers and two networking events. More than 350 people affiliated with the automation and robotics industry are expected to attend. AMT staff encourage students and young professionals to attend the expo and network with industry professionals. AMT offers in-house training and on-the-job mentorship to graduates.
The amtXpo 2016 is free to attend. It will be held 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11 at the AMT Headquarters, 219 Kay Industrial Drive, Orion Township.
