SCORE hosts business roundtable
 The Brandon Township Public Library will hold a Business Assistance Series Roundtable discussion hosted by SCORE, “Counselors to America’s Small Business” 6:30-8:30 p.m. today. Building association names Parade of Home winners

The Building Industry Association of Southeastern Michigan announced the winners of its 21st annual Parade of Homes architectural judging. Parade of Homes is an exhibition of 30 new model and inventory homes and condominiums, one remodeled home and a number of lots for sale, in Southeastern Michigan. The showcase takes place through June 30. The association, Bank of America Home Loans and DTE Energy/MichCon sponsor the event.

Blue ribbons were awarded to the homes in the following six categories: Best Value for the Price, Best Use of Space, Most Innovative Design and Aesthetic Appeal. The following received awards: Abbey Woods at Abbey Woods in Canton Township, built by Abbey Woods, LLC; Marlee at Parkside by the Lakes in Commerce Township built by Parkside by the Lakes; The Barclay at Partridge Creek Village in Clinton Township built by Lombardo Homes; Country Manor at Hillsborough Estates in Brighton Township built by S & S Homes, Dover at The Manors of Deerwood in Clarskton built by Robert R.
