The Women’s Fund, an endowed fund owned and administered by the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester is hosting its third annual commUNITY lunch, Wednesday June 20 at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester. Doors open at 11 a.m., lunch will begin at noon and the program is at 12:30 p.m. featuring guest speaker Pastor Lisa Ilitch Murray of Mt. Zion Church of Clarkston. The cost for tickets is $50. Midwest Job Expo at Affirmations in Ferndale.Affirmations, metro Detroit’s community center for lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender people and their allies (LGBT), is hosting Michigan’s first ever LGBT Midwest Job Expo, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 21. The event will take place at the Ferndale community center, 290 W Nine Mile Road, Ferndale. Automation Alley’s 2012 Golf Outing is 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday, June 25 at The Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth. Golfers at last year’s event were treated to a special video round-up of the day.
