'Your Business Self-Esteem' breakfast to feature panel of professionals

Michigan construction and builders associations to host economic forecast

Construction Association of Michigan and Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan have partnered to present the fourth annual Mid-Year Economic Forecast and State of the Industry Luncheon on Tuesday, June 10.
The event will be held at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi and will feature keynote speakers L. Brooks Patterson, Oakland County Executive, and W. Jay Wortley, director of the Office of Revenue and Tax Analysis, State of Michigan.

Troy chamber to host luncheon featuring Magna VP

The Troy Chamber of Commerce will host the next luncheon in its CEO series, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Wednesday, May 21, featuring Magna International Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific Region, Frank O’Brien. The event will be held at the MSU Management Education Center, 811 W. Square Lake Road, Troy.
“Mr. O'Brien will discuss the overall global automotive market and present the direction Magna is heading for 2020 which includes vehicle trends and how this may affect the United States,” said Troy Chamber Director of Events Jaimi Brook.

French American Chamber to host gala and awards dinner

The French American Chamber of Commerce Michigan Chapter will host its annual gala and awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 23 at the Detroit Athletic Club in Detroit. This year’s gala will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the D-Day Normandy landings and honor the special ties that bring France and the United States together.Guests of honor and speakers include Senator Carl Levin, chairman of the Senate Committee on Armed Services; The Honorable Frédéric Lefebvre, former Minister, Member of the National Assembly of France and Brigadier General Bruno Caitucoli, Defense Attaché at the Embassy of France. John Dingell will be in attendance, as will several D-Day combat veterans from Michigan. Organizational psychologist to share networking secrets

The Entrepreneurs Network of Michigan has partnered with SCORE for a business networking opportunity, 1-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 28 at the Oakland County Business Center, 2100 Pontiac Lake Road, in Waterford Township.
