Walsh College of Troy to host veterans’ career workshop

Walsh College is hosting a veterans’ career workshop presented by Eric Fretz, Ph.D., faculty lecturer at the University of Michigan, and a U.S. Navy veteran.
The workshop is 4:30-7:30 p.m. Nov. 17 at Walsh College, Success Center - Room 123, 3838 Livernois Road, Troy. The workshop begins with networking. It is geared for veterans re-entering the workforce.
Fretz will discuss developing career skills, and techniques to help veterans transition both emotionally and physically, from the military to the business world.

U of M real estate forum to feature 40 speakers

The University of Michigan/Urban Land Institute Real Estate Forum is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a two-day forum for those interested in real estate, filling empty storefronts or investing in Michigan, particularly metro Detroit. The forum will be held Nov. 17 at The Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center in Detroit and Nov. 18 at The Stephen M. Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor.
